Through the Northwest passage: Toronto to Victoria in 150 days

A behind the scenes look at an amazing journey

The CanadaC3 project was a 150-day voyage from Toronto to Victoria via the famed Northwest Passage. Canadian filmmaker and photographer Garry Tutte was brought on board the C3 expedition to create mini-documentaries and communications about the project. The journey was separated into 15 legs, each bringing on new participants to connect with communities along the way. To connect as many Canadians to this excursion as possible, Garry co-lead an onboard communications team with producer Peter Wall. Facilitating the production of topical mini-documentaries and photo series for each community visited along with countless live streams.

Tutte and his team went to great lengths to show off Canada's beauty. Here's how they did it.
